主要从事结核病相关基础和应用研究,包括蛋白翻译后修饰调控结核杆菌感染致病的机制、结核杆菌与宿主细胞免疫互作机制,及抗结核新药及耐药机制方面研究。

2003南京农业大学动物医学学院博士学位2003-2005复旦大学生命科学学院博士后2005–至今,复旦大学生命科学学院,讲师,副教授2009- 2010 约翰霍普金斯大学公共卫生学院,访问学者。
