个人简介(Personal Profile

Jeremy Kirk Nicholson (杰里米·柯克·尼科尔森)教授,男,1956年出生,博士,教授。1977年毕业于英国利物浦大学海洋生物学专业,获学士学位;1980年获伦敦大学省托马斯医院生物化学博士学位。1980-1981年在伦敦大学伯贝克学院化学系从事博士后研究,后升任讲师;1992-1998年任伯贝克学院化学系生物化学教授;1998年起到帝国理工学院医学部工作,历任生物化学系主任(1998-2007)、生物分子医学系主任(2007-2009),现为帝国理工学院医学部外科学与肿瘤系教授。2016年11月任复旦大学生命科学学院名誉教授。

Prof Jeremy Nicholson finished his Bachelor’s degree in marine biology at the University of Liverpool, UK in 1977 and obtained PhD in biochemistry at St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School, University of London in 1980. He was an RTZ post-doctoral research fellow during 1980-1981 at Department of Chemistry, Birkbeck College, University of London, where his career as Lecturer began and became Professor in Biological Chemistry in 1992. He joined Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London as Professor of Biological Chemistry in 1998 and worked as Head of Biological Chemistry (1998-2007) and Head of Department of Biomolecular Medicine (2007-2009). He is currently Professor in Department of Surgery and Cancer, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. He earned Honorary Professorship in the School of Life Sciences, Fudan University in November, 2016.
