研究方向

主要通过线粒体基因组(mitochondrial DNA)进行人类群体遗传学研究,涉及以下几个方面:1)人群的扩张、迁徙和适应等进化历史;2)现代人所受到自然选择压力的减弱;3)线粒体DNA在人体衰老中的作用;4)线粒体DNA在高原适应中的作用。其次,也涉及一些细菌和病毒的分子进化研究。
